Commissioned art - KUNSTTOF

What do I prefer to do? Create personalized works of art. That tells your story. In a personal conversation I will find out what is very close to you. What you cherish. That could be a memory, a place, your children, your great love. I then shape this in an abstract way into a unique design.

I create for you an artwork that is as personal as a photo, but not as shiny and ‘present’. A work of art that is unique and stands alone, but that also blends into the space in terms of color, size and design.

How I work

1 | Let’s meet

First, I like to get to know you and get a feel for your style, the color palette and where you like to see your new Kunsttof artwork. I’ll visit you for this personal conversation and take some photo’s of your home (or office). Together we decide what size artwork would work best to complement your interior.

2 | First sketches

After my visit, I grab my sketchbook and start sketching some very rough options. I try different compositions, different stories and angles. We send design options and feedback back and forth until we have a design that resonates.

3 | Design, colour and fabric

I develop the sketches into a final design. I show you multiple colour options with photo’s of the fabric I’d like to use. Of course I appreciate your feedback. Only when we are both super happy with the result, I start with the final step.

4 | Production and shipping

Now it is time for me to cocoon in my studio and cut, sew and frame your work of art. I’ll text you when it is ready. You can either collect your artwork in Vught or I can arrange a courier to deliver it to you (additional charges apply). Time to unwrap and enjoy!

Shipping | you can either collect your artwork in Vught or I can arrange a courier to deliver it to you (additional charges apply).
